1/4 Do Now

     Almost everything is on the web.  There are also pieces of information that is private and people don't want to see.  My computer is hierarchical because it can store the photos and files.  You can put your videos photos and anything else you want in a folder and have it stored.  You can disguise the name so no one would want to look in it.  Each folder can have something different in them so you can know whats in each one.  Social bookmarking is when you take a website and bookmark it so you can get to it quick and easy.  Tagging is when you take something and make a descriptive label that other people can see and and the amount of people who see it will increase.  They are important to the digital age because it makes doing things on the web quick and easy and fast to get to.
