Model Of A Rat Brain Circut.

Scientist have recently made a 3-D model of a rat brain circut. The first step towards there goal was to make a complete computer model of the brain so we have a better and more detailed understanding of how out brains work. It also helps to see what causes them to malfunction. The way they built the model is by making the researchers who studied the cortical column in awake and anestizing rats as well as the brain slices and used a computer along with other tools to reconstruct it. The model that was built was based on the reconstruction of the nerve cells. The model built when it gets finished will resemble how it would look like in a real animal. I hope to see more information about the model in the future.
