Sunken Islands.

There has been two sunken islands found  near the site of Tasmania has been found in the Indonesia ocean west of the Australian city of Perth. On of the researchers who discovered the sunken island thinks it was once a part of the ancient super continent of Gondwana which explains why the giant land mass broke apart. The data collected changed the understanding of the way India, Australia and Antartica broke off Gondwana.The islands were found on a tree week voyage to map the seafloor of the Perth Abyssal Plain witch happened last week. These islands were referred to by scientist as "Micro-Continents." I hope to learn more about these sunken islands in the future.
