Astronomers have finally captured the first direct image of a planet being born. It is being formed out of dust and gas circling a two million old star that is 450 light years away from Earth. It is estimated that the planet has started taking shape from about 50,000 to 100,000 years ago. Thic planet LkCa could be one of the youngest planets ever observed. The record holders is five times older. It has disc around it that planets probably form from and something right in the middle. I am curious to see how this planet looks like.
